The greatest commandment is love of God, but love of God also entails a concern for justice for our neighbour. In the words of the prophet Micah, Christians are called “to do justice, and to love kindness” (Micah 6:8). This course offers a survey of key themes from Catholic Social Doctrine, with practical applications to key areas of this age.
About Chris O’Hara –
Hello all, my name is Chris O’Hara. I grew up in Halifax, but spent a number of years working in western Canada at St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission, a gap-year style program for young adults seeking depth of faith formation and a diploma in Catholic studies. I now live in Halifax with my wife Becca, and I work at the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth in the Office of Pastoral Life and New Evangelization. As a team we provide resources and support to the people & parishes of the diocese to help bring about parish renewal and increase our efforts towards the New Evangelization.
